In order to extend the life of AURIZON's ageing infrastructure, QENCOM were engaged to refurbish 11 critical 30MVA power transformers on their Blackwater Network. These assets were reconditioned for less than 10% of the replacement costs achieving improved reliability, at a small fraction of the CAPEX.

These works were completed on time, on budget in live operational infrastructure without incident.
