Roma St OHL Resectioning

Roma Street railway station is the junction station for the North Coast, Main, Gold Coast and NSW North Coast lines and as such a critical interface in the Queensland Rail Network.

To increase the reliability of the Brisbane City network, Queensland Rail required the rationalization and revised sectioning of the Roma St Station and surrounding overhead systems. 

 

This project included:

  • Backdrafting and Asbuilting (Track, Height and Staggers, Registration, Formation etc.

  • Detailed 3D modelling of the existing network including tunnel mounted equipment

  • Redesign of the existing sectioning

  • Execution and Staging - considering the limited access

  • Rewiring of 80% of the existing roads
